I've been writing about AI since before most people knew what it stood for, so a question as simple as "What is ChatGPT?" should be a softball. But as OpenAI has kept pushing ChatGPT forward with new models and features, it's gotten surprisingly hard to answer. ChatGPT isn't just a chatbot anymore.
